Tesla has indicated that they will be on track to start filling volume production in September.
While many had criticisms of the success of their Model 3 pre-sales, in regards to fulfilling the overwhelming amount, Tesla has indicated that any additional revenue that would need to be raised would only go towards reducing risk in the production side.
By the end of the year, Tesla hopes to be producing close to 5,000 Model 3’s a week, and over 10,000 in 2018.
The Model 3 is a budget priced sedan that boasts many of the features that made the Model S successful.
