Apple has release the beta version for the new upcoming iOS updates for its current lineup!
Apple on the 10th of April seeded the second beta of multiple upcoming OS updates to developers for testing purposes. This new seeded beta comes after only 2 weeks when Apple seeded the first beta of multiple Apple devices.
macOS Sierra 10.12.5 & watchOS 3.2.2
The latest Beta that was seeded for the macOS is the 10.12.5 & watchOS 3.2.2 releasing after macOS Sierra 10.12.4 and watchOS 3.2, which added the Night Shift for the Mac and watchOS. There aren’t any new notable features in the Beta for both the beta updates and according to the statement released alongside the Beta releases we can expect the new version to improve the security, compatibility, and stability of your Mac & watchOS.
The new beta for the watchOS can be downloaded by heading into the setting and choosing software update. More than 50% is required for the updates to start as well as being connected to a charger and near to an iPhone device. The watchOS 3.2.2 Beta for the watchOS is only available to developers since there isn’t any way to downgrade the software version on the watchOS.
We also got the first iOS 10.3.2 beta after the iOS 10.3 release from 2 weeks ago which had new features like the apple file system and a much needed find my Air pod feature. Registered developers can download the new Beta from Apples developer center and users with the proper profile configuration installed can download it over the air. Much like the macOS Sierra 10.12.5 & watchOS 3.2.2 Beta’s, we still haven’t found any new features that stand out and the new update is more likely going to be focused on improving the safety and performance. Apple has issues a statement saying the new update will “fix” SiriKit car commands. We will keep you informed as more details about the upcoming iOS version become available.
The tvOS 10.2.1 comes two weeks after the tvOS 10.2 update that added iPad support for the Apple TV remote app and improved the scrolling. The tvOS 10.2.1 beta is for the fourth generation Apple TV and is only available to download for registered developers due to the complexity installation requirements. Developers can download the new tvOS beta by connecting their Apple TV to a computer and installing the Beta through their developer account from iTunes. It is expected that tvOS 10.2.1 will feature mostly performance stabilization and bug fixes. Since not a lot is known about the tvOS 10.2.1 beta this is all the info we have. We’ll keep you updated as more information is made available.
