#MadeByGoogle Event Round Up

When it comes to innovations, Google is never short on ideas! The company whom you best know for Web Search, email and YouTube, has now really stepped into the hardware arena. This year the brand released six amazing products! These products will rejuvenate your experience with technology and innovative gadgets. Products that were a part of the #MadeByGoogle event are: A speaker hub, a brand new Chromecast, a new Wi-Fi router, smartphone, Google Assistant and a mobile VR headset.

  1. Google Assistant

The list of amazing #MadeByGoogle products begins with “Google Assistant”. Though the event focused on hardware products, “Google Assistant” was intuitive and creative. The software package brings together many innovative ideas and features. Yup, you read it right! Google Assistant is an interesting collection of features that can make your daily life easy and simple. It is quite similar to Alexa, Cortana and Siri. However, Google Assistant is much different than these digital assistants! It taps in many devices and services from Google. This is what makes Google Assistant special and efficient.

In general, Google Assistant is an improved version of “OK Google”. This is an interesting command that is familiar amongst most Android users. “OK Google” is designed to be a platform for conversations. You can ask OK Google a question and many follow up queries. “OK Google” is capable of remembering your questions and the actual context. For example, if you ask “how long does it take to reach home from Texas?” and ask “how many restaurants are there in the route”, OK Google will remember it! Google Assistant will answer with all these questions in mind! Doesn’t this sound too good to be true?

  1. Pixel and Pixel XL

Another interesting product at #MadeByGoogle is the Pixel and Pixel XL. The Pixel gives Google’s smartphones a new twist. This is an interesting change in their line of Nexus phones. Pixel is manufactured by HTC. Pixel is around 5-inches and Pixel XL is 5.5 inches big. The smartphone features a special Pixel imprint fingerprint sensor. This sensor will help you with quick unlocking. When it comes to performance, the smartphone features a 4GB Ram and an 821 Snapdragon chipset.

  1. Google Home

“Google Home” is a sophisticated Bluetooth powered speaker. It is similar to Amazon Echo. The speaker is built with Google Assistant. Also, it has a special “My Day” facility. “My Day” will give you details about the day. This includes details like calendar, traffic and weather. These details will be tied to your personal Google account. Likewise, you can tie the details to your Pandora, Google Play Music and YouTube Music account.

  1. Google Wi-Fi

“Google Wifi” is the brand’s very own wireless router. It is a powerful router that will let you link and control Google devices effortlessly. For instance, you can disable and enable connections with the help of Google Wifi. The router is sold for $129 USD each and $299 USD for three Google Wi-Fi routers.
