Elon has launched a new company that will help bridge the human/ artificial intelligence gap. While the exact specifications might still be up in the air, Musk’s venture will aim to capitalize on many automation and home tech markets. While a device is needed to interface to say, change the lights, lock the door, or start the oven, Musk’s future vision might encompass thinking about that task and it being realized through automated intelligence.
Artificial intelligence and smart prosthetics might be a good indication as to where Elon wants to position his company, Neuralink. Brain-computer interfaces are definitely a trend if you take today’s existing technology and extend it to it’s pinnacle. So many brands have automated their workflows, and it is exciting to see where Musk will take us.
